Hello there my lovely happy smiley friends .... I have lots of happy wonderful things to share with you today :). Ooooh now where do I start???
Oooh firstly before I start I would like to say a big Thank You to Jo who emailed me the explanation of Mothers Day...most interesting I think :). Such wonderful friends I have...
Ok.....
I have been stitching and stitching away as you all know. Yes I am going to tell you all the details again!! Oh but.. It will be the last time I tell you all!!! Eeeeeeekkk!!! That's right! It's because I have finished it!!
Here is the brilliant stitching journey of the wonderful Blue Ribbon design called "Five Houses Of Hope" stitched with DMC threads and on 18 count Aida hand dyed by myself.
I have only used a few photo's that I liked .... Ha ha that is due to my naff photo taking!!
I chose this one as the light is useless here, I know how Gale feels when trying to get a good photo! This photo I took because it shows the lovely colour of the Aida I hand dyed...shame the light does not show it. If you want to see all the photos of me stitching this .... Work your way backwards... Page by page and you will see the design!
I usually don't show the back as it's such a mess....but I wanted you all to see, as I think I am getting neater :)
What do you think?
That is my wonderful sampler.... I really enjoyed every stitch of it...I am happy but sad too as it's finished...odd kind of feeling.
Onto some other news I have had eeeeeekkkkk!!! I am so excited about this I could scream!! I have been waiting and waiting since coming out of hospital since 7 th February. And yesterday I heard that I will be having a visit from the community physiotherapist TOMORROW!!! (Wednesday) I am so happy about this... Maybe with them now I can get back to being mobile? Ha ha yes if your reading his... I am in my bed 24/7 due to having a massive severe flare up of osteoarthritis in my knee and I have also pulled the muscles in it too...so I am unable to put any weight through my leg at the moment...so no walking.... Hence in my bed!! Ha ha
Omg! This is a great day as I am really happy as things are moving with my knee and I have finished the biggest project I have done to date yet! I actually finished it!!! OMG!! I did!!!
I have to choose another project now... Oooh the excitement of that!!! I will show you my next project in my next post.... Ooooh I will be able to tell you how the physio went too :)
Ok!!
Thank you all so much for popping in on this most happy day... Really, Thank You :) xx
On wards and up wards until tomorrow....
One day at a time....
Smiles :)
Xx

ReplyDeleteGood luck for tomorrow. Your sampler is beautiful but did you really need to show off by showing the back?! I wish mine was as neat. Great job, and your fabric is to dye for (sorry couldn't resist) xx
