Very tired today....

Hello good friends...

Yes it appears I have already over done things.. I am worn out :(

I literally just took Han to the doctors, oh for a follow up appointment with the skeletal people.  It was a waste of time... told us nothing new.   Then I got back in the car and met my parents at Costa coffee shop for a chat and coffee.. although I was feeling hot at this point so had a lovely cold drink.

Yes Han said I looked a little 'off' and tired by this point.. so we rested and lingered for slightly longer to try and claw back some lost energy.

Then I went home and basically have sat in my stitching chair all afternoon... not stitching at first as I was too tired.  But I did eventually start!!

And oooh look what I have been up to...

The border is AWESOME... the magazine really does not show the colours at all.  ha ha and my photo taking skills are dreadful at the moment, I hope you get the idea.

The crown was first...  OMG!! The thread was awful to stitch with... its just like using metallic threads all over again.  But I worked through it.. and well I am pleased I did as its lovely.

I did say that my photo skills had left the building!  ha ha just like Elvis!  

I do hope you can see the colours in the border?

It literally is draining me, the amount of concentration I need for this is heaps... but I love the way its looking.

So that is what I have managed to stitch today...

My first 2015 finish....

Hello wonderful friends...

Yes I have put Happy New Year at the top as I never actually got around to wishing it to you all!

"Happy New Year" I wish you all smiles and happiness for 2015 and beyond.

So how am I?...

I am pleased to say, on the mend :)

One day at a time as they say!  Oh but I can stitch now as my head is staring to clear.  And well seeing as I dont have an awful lot of energy, sitting stitching is my limit at present!  Oh dear!! ha ha ha stitching and more stitching!! hee hee

And oooh yes I have been stitching...

I thought I would start off with a nice 'happy' design to ease me back into stitching.  And the design I chose was a Blue Ribbon design called "Stars Over Pines".  I stitched it on 18 count cream Aida using DMC threads.

I really enjoyed stitching this, well I love stitching all the Blue Ribbon Designs! 

So now I am up an running so to speak... onto finishing some 'other' already started projects I think.  Watch out for my next up date to see which one I will be working on next.

Oh I guess I missed new year!

Hello wonderful friends...

Yes I am safe and at home now... I was discharged from hospital today .

I just want to Thank all of you so much for you kind well wishes and comments... And a big thank you to Han for keeping you all up to date with everything.

It just all happened so quickly, I was looking forward to celebrating the new year and the next minute I was being rushed to hospital by ambulance with suspected meningitis.

I really have never felt so ill in all my life...

I was treated in hospital and given a lumbar puncture and ct scan which thankfully were both negative for meningitis.

It's all kind of a blur but it appears I was discharged for less than 9 hours as I was rushed back into hospital again.  This time, same symptoms as the first but could not stop being sick.

Back at the hospital they treated me for a form of virus with as they said a gastro twist due to the sickness!

I have not eaten a thing or drank anything since before new year, the hospital basically have had me on iv drips from start to finish.

I am so happy to be on the mend and out of hospital... I am very weak, understandably and hope to build my strength and energy back up again.

I literally have done no stitching this year! Ha ha how funny does that sound!  I am aiming for the weekend... This is a good goal I feel to get back to stitching.

Thank you all very much again for being so caring, what lovely friends I have.

Another little update

Hi it's Han again

Mum was released from hospital for 24 hours on the 3rd but readmitted on the 4th evening due to being no better whatsoever.
She is currently in an isolated room, which we have to wear a plastic apron and gloves in,  to herself as she is being treated for some sort of gastro-virus, I don't know exact details as she doesn't know herself.

Mum is talking, but not much, she is also really sensitive to light so her room is in the dark, not much fun when we visit!

Overall doing ok, the hospital is the best place for her right now as the nurses can monitor her fluids and give her regular pain relief.

She was overwhelmed at the amount of comments and get well wishes that have come in, as am I.
Thank you so much to everyone taking the time to say something and I will be back soon no doubt if she isn't home before the end of the week.

Just a little update.

Hey all, it's Han just filling in.

Sorry if this post looks a little different from the usual, I have no idea what setting she uses!

Some of you may know that mum hasn't been feeling too good lately, on the 31st she had to go into hospital, doctors are currently trying to work out what's wrong and making her ill, but for now she is being kept in.

She asked me to just update her blog as she didn't want to leave it empty and just vanish for a bit!

I will keep you updated if she stays in any longer.
