I have model stitched for Hands Across The Sea Samplers (HATS) and Sassafras Samplers (Sassy Jacks Stitchery).
I feel honoured to be able to stitch such beautiful designs that were charted directly from the original sampler. I was the first person to hand embroider the reproduction since the original sampler was stitched.
1. Louisa Coulimore, a stunning Bristol orphanage red sampler.
2. Miss Mary Lea, a rather large beautiful sampler with plenty to see, I especially like the little cute animals.
3. Mary Brown 1765, a beautiful design with such lovely colours.
4. Eliza Skelton 1820, this is a really unusual sampler I really enjoyed stitching.
5. Jenifer Gilbert 1818, I really loved this sampler as I enjoyed the embroidery part a lot.
6. Sarah Braizear 1829, this was a special Limited Edition and also the 2018 Queen Of May sampler.
7. Ann Roberts
8. Sally Stansfield 1841

ReplyDeleteYou’re an amazing stitcher. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh these are all so gorgeous Jacquie! I would have such a hard time giving these up!
ReplyDeleteThank you Vickie, thankfully I got to keep them after they had been shown around the world at various exhibitions and stores. They are are now on my walls, every time I look at them I honestly cannot believe that I stitched them. It was an amazing opportunity I was given.
