So excited!!!! Eeeeeeèèk!!!!

Hello!!
Hello!!
Hello!!
Gosh I am excited!

As you all know I have been working on the wonderful Jacquelynn Steves design called Cozy Afternoon.  Eeeeek!!! I have now finished the front!!

I really cannot believe it... I honestly never thought I could make anything like this!! Ok so it's not perfect... Ha ha no way near!! But I gave it a go and even with dyscalculia and other issues I somehow got through it, lol with a LOT of help from jon!! It's only through making this I actually realised how bad I am at measuring, cutting, counting, double checking, sewing straight... Lol the list goes on!! Ha ha as I say lots of things to improve on!! Indeed as I don't think this will be the last one I make! I can look back at this one is years to come and say... That was the first one I ever made!! Hopefully I would of improved by then!!

Here is my journey....

Lol I cannot iron for toffee! But you can see it.... I love it!

Do you know I never planned it this way!! Ha ha it kind of just happened!

So while I think now how to finish it off, I will maybe catch up on some cross stitch!! Lol my poor neglected cross stitching!!

Hope your all happy and well... Omg!! It's now November! Where did the year go? Anyone know??

Ok till my next update, smiles to you all :)

  8. Your quilt is amazing! It looks great. Did you plan it so the pink floral triangles form a diamond shape or was that a happy coincidence?
