one day at a time...

Well you all know what I am like.... I love experimenting :)

So I took the stitched pumpkin I made and well erm...... added some beads.  I have never worked with beads before and thought I would add some.  I think maybe I have gone a little over board and now the pumpkin looks like its been blinged... oh is that a word?  Well you will see for yourself when you look at the photo!

Here is what it looked like before I 'blinged' it!

And well now...

I made it into a little pillow...

Made my own cord out of floss to edge it with and well.... not actually sure I like it!! ha ha

Here is another photo showing the edging a little better.  Hmmmm I will add it to my stitching pillow basket as an autumn pillow :)

Its different and well it was fun to make!

Ok... ta ta for now!

I may pop back later as moving onto a new project now!! ha ha

smiles to you all :)

Je dirais pour rire que c'est une citrouille qui aime le chic!
Le cordon a bien reussi ,je n'ai jamais éssayé.

What a great finish on this pillow! A lot of work went into that. I love it!

  4. Hi Jacqui
Glad you are feeling better slowly. One day at a time definitely when you have RA! I hate the taste of iron too that's why I have infusions.
I love your pumpkin - those beads have definitely "Blinged" it up!
    Happy new project (:

  6. Very interesting look... The beads look like caviar. And the whole thing looks like a maze - a maze with caviar. :) Lovely finish!
