So happy...

Hello happy friends :)

I have been ever so busy stitching, stitched a lot too! The only day I did not stitch was yesterday (Tuesday) as I had two hospital appointments.  Ha ha in two different hospitals! That was fun! Oh don't worry I am fine.... The first appointment was for the last fitting of my 'bionic' leg brace.  It's been specially made and fitted and will hopefully be ready in a few weeks time. Then the other appointment was to see a specialist!! Yes one at last!! He said what I already knew! Ho hum! This was a back consultant and he said I have lower back problems...duh! I know!! I feel the pain daily!! They cannot do anything with me as I am not mobile enough! Ha ha so I have to wait for the appointment to see the knee specialist consultant ... Jon checked its the same person I saw for my back! Why I just could not have a double appointment I don't know?! Anyway he knows all about my knee and whilst checking my back out explained that I needed a knee replacement! Yes I know! But as yet they have not decided what to do with me! So I have to wait more!! Ho hum! Well gives me more time to stitch! Hmmmm

So there you have it.... Waiting again! Trying to stay positive and happy...being here blogging is helping a LOT!!

I guess you all want to see what I have been stitching then?

Oooh I have been busy!

As you all know I was doing ever so well with the Prairie Schooler design Prairie Garden.. Ha ha I was one square, one flower away from finishing! Ha ha but put in down, as I was distracted! Oh yes this happens a lot!!

So here is what I was distracted with,.. It's adorable....

I started a few days ago the Snowflower Diaries SAL, just go back a few days and you will see when I started, with all the link details too :)

Here is what I had done ...

Yes, I stitched January!!
The distraction was February!! Here it is...

How adorable is this!!
Like to show you the both of them... Awaiting the next month!

With my scissors so you can see they are a lovely size too.  I am stitching them on 28 count pearl linen in flax colour... I am loving how it's looking :) I have decided to stitch them 4x3... After thinking a lot on how to display them. More on that as they come out!!

And my Prairie Schooler design.... YES!!! Is finished!!

I left it here...

The last flower...

And the whole design...

Thought I would show you all three I took as I could not decide which one to leave to show you! Ha ha my picture taking skills are still naff! But you get the idea....yippppeeee!! It's finished!! Ha ha

And now I am moving onto a new design.... How exciting! And by a designer I have not stitched anything by yet too....even more exciting!! Ha ha but oooooh can't show you just yet! Will show you in my next post!  :)

Until I next pop in, keep smiling :)
Xxxx
