A wonderful Friday Night With Friends....

Hello wonderful friends :)

I have been stitching away for Friday Night With Friends...

I am SO pleased with my progress... only a little more to do then its actually finished!! Ha ha and I only started it last night!!! ha ah a

As some of you know I used to live in Germany... I love everything German.  Having spent a LOT of time there I am pleased I have my treasured German cross stitching booklets.
The booklet I have used this time is Feliz Navidad from Rico...this one..

And here is the design inside I decided to stitch last night...

Close up...

I think it so sweet and looks really festive.. so I decided to stitch it!!

Here is my journey so far...

That is where I am now... 3 baubles away from finishing!! :)

Its been a while since I stitched on linen... this is 25 count linen.  I enjoyed it but cannot believe the amount of concentration I had to have..

Onwards... not much left to do :)
I will post the finished stitch in tomorrow's post..

Do you like it?
Han thinks I should make it into a cushion... what do you think?

Hope your all well...

Sending warm smiles your way :)

xx

  2. I LOVE that design, robins hold a very special meaning to me and that is one beautiful design of them. I'm jealous!! I think a cushion finish would be ideal.

  3. I love patterns that make good use of just a few colors. I think those little birds are thinking up ways to get that donut ornament off the bobble and into their tummies. ;D

  14. Hi, catching up with my blog reading. I have read all your posts including the James Blunt one. He seems like such a nice man though not my cup of musical tea! How exciting for you to meet him though.
I love these robins you have stitched. It's a lovely seasonal design and the fabric is great. Could you make a banner from it?

  20. Love the robins. Glad it's coming together quickly. I'm thinking about doing my new start on linen but it's a little intimidating so I haven't settled on it yet.
