Tuesday 6 th May 2014....

(Borrowed from Google Images)

Well unfortunately I am not feeling so good today.. so what better way to spend the day..... I stitched all day!! ha ha

Its tiresome moving about and walking is zapping my energy.  I am afraid that the iron supplement I have been taking is really not working.  I am going to go back to my doctor and see what he says.  I dont really want to get any worse as I know a blood transfusion is not that far off now.  So conserving my energy where I can...

So this has meant no college today or tomorrow.. I just no energy to walk around campus.. but I have work that has been emailed to me :)

I have sat on my nice comfy sewing chair practically all day... and I made this!!!  I needed something to keep all my lovely charts in.

My new chart bag...

I lined it too...

The back...

I cut out all the different colored squares and the stitched them together using my sewing machine.  I really enjoyed making it and am enjoying gaining more and more confidence on my sewing machine.

I like color as a lot of you know.. and well I put these together and thought they matched pretty well.. nice bright and happy :)

So that was the sewing...

I need to start another cross stitch project...

OK!!

YES!!

I am putting together a little something for the runner up of my first blog giveaway..  so will post when I have done it! shhhhh its a secret at the moment!

But I shall give a little tiny clue...

I bought something in the V&A museum whilst in London recently and have been looking for something to go with it... FOUND IT!! and well once stitched it will be for the runner up :)

The lady that has designed this and other quilt blocks is a wonderful designer and like I say deserves a win. She is raising money for a charity... :)

  1. I am so sorry you are not feeling well. Please take care - I hope the doctor can help you before the need for a transfusion. Your pouch is wonderful! What a great idea! ooooo the V&A museum! I was lucky to tour it when I was there eight years ago. I was on a needlework tour and got to see some very unique collections. I savor those memories.
    Please take care, Jacquie.

  6. Sorry to read that iron is not working... when did you start to take the supplement? If it is natural, it may take even 15 days or a month to see the first effects...
In any case, you had a very productive day! Very nice the chart bag!
And congratulation for your 50 followers (I'm still at 17... not a nice number here in Italy eheheh)
Hope you will feel better soon!
