Sunday 20 th July 2014...

Here is Han being simply Han!  Yes we went to the pick your own farm today and had a fun time.. ha ha as we do every where we go!

We hopped on the tractor transport to the bottom field....

Han took a selfie of us on the tractor transport!

We got the the vegetable fields...

Here is what I picked here... and yes that is me in the field, Han did not want to pick any as she does not eat them!

I am curious about the round courgettes or zucchinis as many of you know them as...

I guess they are the same as the long ones... maybe I could stuff it?  Hmmm

Off to get broccoli and carrots...

Here is what we picked and Han dug all the carrots up!

It was a lot of fun picking vegetables ourselves...

We also wanted to get some fruit but sadly the strawberries were at the end of their season so could not pick any.  I did venture into the raspberry field to pick some... the sun was out and OMG I was melting!  What was Han doing, Oh she is not silly whilst I was in the middle of the raspberries looking for them to put in my punnet she was sitting in the shade taking photo's of corn! ha ha

I only got a few raspberries...

And look at the lovely photo's Han took of the corn!! hmmmm

Here is a photo of me Han took... I look really hot and just look at my hair! lol

Hot but we enjoyed the walk about... loving the vegetable we got.

Right next to the pick your own farm in the next field there was a car book sale going on... so we took a look!  It was really busy...

I managed to get a few little things... very cheaply too :)

I saw these cute buttons, they are ceramic and I am sure I can find something for them!

Oh yes!!

I forgot to mention I posted all of these packages out for lovely stitching fiends... watch out something may be coming your way!

And talking about post... a little while ago I posted out this..

I sent to to the lovely Kim for her Birthday ... she loves tea so I made this for her..

And the back...

Only something little but I enjoyed making it and I am pleased to say Kim loved it :)

OMGoodness..... I must tell you all about this drink I am totally addicted to.... mmmm

I guess all you lovely folk over the pond know about this?  Well its a new thing here in England and I LOVE it! mmmm

As for stitching... yes I am still stitching... nope not giving in to show you!! You will have to wait!! ha ha

Ok I am going now...

Hope you all having a lovely Sunday...

Smiles to you all :)

xx

  4. I think you've found the perfect way to have fresh food from a garden--let someone else take care of the garden and you just come in and get what you want!!! I wish there was a place like that near me! How wonderful!
You really found some cute goodies at the car boot sale--I love sales because you never know what might turn up! Fun!
I've never seen that grape drink before--I will have to look around for it because it does look tasty!
    Have a nice, smiley day!

  5. Your PYO day looked like great fun, especially finishing up with stitchy goodies too hehe. The idea of stuffing those round courgettes is perfect! Make a savoury rice and wrap in tin foil on a barbecue even? Hmm feeling inspired now!!
Hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow. Take care xxx

  7. How fun picking your own vegies, those round zucchini look good and I think they would be perfect with stuffing inside, onion and fried tomato, yummy.

  14. It looks like you had a wonderful day out with Han. I would love to go to a pick your own, but living in a city, it's a novelty to go to the greengrocers! Love the ceramic buttons, looking forward to seeing what you do with them :)
