Christmas is coming......

Hello friends...

I have some happy news... I have finished my Christmas stitch..

Remember this one...

For those who dont know...

Its from Cross Stitch Collection magazine, issue 243, December 2014.  Its a lovely little set of Prairie Schooler designs.

I started with this one...

He was my journey from start to finish...

I stitched it on 16 count aida, camel colour using DMC threads. Yes had to change the colors slightly to what I had.

That is one down 2 to go!...
What do you think?  I think it rather cute :)

Wanted to share with you all what I have been up to today.. shopping!! ha ha I dont really like shopping but it has to be done if we want to eat!!

Just a few bags!!

Then I cooked up some spaghetti bolognaise for Jon and Han... not me as I dont eat meat!  I had the vegetarian option tonight!! Spaghetti with peas and edamame beans! Both with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

That was pretty much my day today!

Tomorrow is Sunday and Ooooh guess what dad wants to go to bingo! We used to do this regular, so wish me luck!

Happy stitching to you all :)

Smiles :)

  9. That was a lot of shopping bags! Were they all brought in on one trip? :D I must say I love meat but we try to have at least one vegetarian/vegan meal a week. I like the variety and it saves a bit on the cost since I can use in-season veggies~

Your stitching worked up so quickly and looks so cute! I agree with Justine, I think it would look great with one of your fancy buttons. :D
